I made a new painting this weekend. I call it “Hog Scraper”. Here is a snapshot of it.
The title of the painting derives from an alternative use of the candlestick. It was reported that it doubled on the farm as a scraper used to scrape the bristles off hogs after they were slaughtered. When first we saw it, some hog bristles were still stuck to the base of it.
Ew.
