It seems that the robins have abandoned their nest. At first I thought that maybe they got upset when I took a photo of their eggs, but then I looked into their nest again and saw this.
Something has raided their nest and taken one of the eggs. I suspect that they have moved to a safer location.
Then, I took a look at the mourning dove nest, and it was empty too.
But, do not despair. We looked around and found the mourning dove family safe and sound on the ground under the bush.
And the best part of it is that it gave me an opportunity to draw DG with an expression other than a frown.
